Tom Halford

Tom Halford has held various roles in the technology industry, starting from 2002 when they worked at MDA as a SAR Software Engineer. After that, they were an NLP Research Intern at IBM in 2005. From 2007 to 2015, they were in charge of technology and business development at TrellisWare Technologies. In 2015, they became Vice President at WPL, Inc. until 2019 when they founded Caliola Engineering, LLC. At Caliola Engineering, Tom served as Chief Scientist and Co-Founder before their employment end date became unspecified.

Tom Halford earned their BASc in Engineering Physics from Simon Fraser University from 1997 to 2001. Tom then went on to receive their PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2002 to 2007. In 2015, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)², and in 2016, they acquired the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
