Kwanghyun Lim's work experience includes the following:

- Software Engineer at Caliper Corporation since May 2021. Kwanghyun leads a distributed system project for fast and scalable computation of transportation models. Kwanghyun designed and implemented the software architecture using C++, Protobuf, and gRPC. Kwanghyun resolved the challenge of parallel programming support for GISDK, implemented GISDK RPC APIs, and created a RPC scheduler.

- Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University Graduate School from October 2018 to December 2020. Kwanghyun worked in the Large-scale Distributed Machine Learning Systems Research Group, where they were advised by Dr. Ken Birman and Dr. Chris De Sa. Kwanghyun also worked in the Database Systems Research Group, advised by Dr. Immanuel Trummer. In this role, they devised a new data structure for database column indexing.

- Teaching Assistant at Cornell University. Kwanghyun served as a TA for several courses, including Cloud computing (CS5412) and Practicum in Database Systems (CS4321) in 2019-2020 and Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures (CS2110) in 2018-2019.

- Research Assistant at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology from March 2015 to December 2017. Kwanghyun worked with Dr. Sam H. Noh and co-devised a new RAID system for SSDs in Linux Kernel.

Kwanghyun Lim completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Hongik University in the years 2012 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at Cornell University from 2018 to 2020.
