Brian Sweeney, PhD, FEI, FCIM, CEng, CMarEng, MIMarEST, has extensive experience in business development and energy consulting. Currently serving as a Business Development professional at Calix Limited since 2009, Brian Sweeney is involved in the development of a pilot program utilizing Calix's innovative flash calciner technology for CO2-free cement production. As a Senior Partner at Fastnet Energy Consultants, active since 2001, Brian Sweeney focuses on energy and environmental issues across various sectors, including downstream oil and gas. Previously, Brian Sweeney held leadership roles at Braintree Healthcare Limited, Rolls-Royce plc, Arthur D Little, and Shell, contributing to significant initiatives in the energy industry throughout a distinguished career. Academically, Brian Sweeney holds a PhD in Engineering from St Catharine's College, University of Cambridge, and a Master of Science from Columbia University.
