Seb van Dorp

Seb van Dorp is a seasoned professional in the field of business development and engineering, currently serving as the Senior Business Development Manager at Calix Limited since October 2024. Prior to this role, Seb van Dorp held several key positions at Fortescue, including Senior Technical Engineer and Senior Engineer in Technical Marketing, from April 2019 to October 2024. Seb van Dorp's career began at Barrick Gold Corporation as a Project Metallurgist and extended through impactful roles at Rio Tinto, including Principal Engineer in Technical Marketing and various positions related to ore processing and project evaluation. Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Process Engineer at Jacobs and a focus on ore processing at Rio Tinto. Seb van Dorp holds two Master’s degrees, one in Minerals Processing from Delft University of Technology and another in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
