Doug McNitt

Doug McNitt is EVP and General Counsel at Calix. Doug has held this position since May of 2022. Prior to joining Calix, Doug served as General Counsel & Secretary at Vectra AI from December 2020 to May of 2022.

Before their time at Vectra AI, Doug was with Scanta. From there they moved to bnh.ai before landing at Cisco in January of 2013 where they served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel until December of 2020.

Doug's career began at AOL in January 1997 where they worked as an Associate General Counsel until December 2000. Doug then went on to work as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at webMethods, Inc. from January 2000 to December 2007. After leaving webMethods, Inc., Doug worked as an Associate at Tucker, Flyer & Lewis from January 1995 to December 1997. Doug then transitioned to McDermott Will & Emery where they also worked as an Associate from January 1993 to December 1995.

Doug McNitt attended Stanford University for their Bachelor of Arts, where they studied international relations, economics, and political science. Doug then went on to study and teach international relations and foreign affairs at the University of Virginia. Lastly, they attended Notre Dame Law School for their Doctor of Law.
