Jacob Sauceda

Jacob Sauceda is an experienced Lead Geological Engineer at Call & Nicholas, specializing in geotechnical consulting for open-pit slope stability and managing multiple projects and engineers since May 2018. Prior to this role, Jacob served as an Electronics Engineer with the US Navy, acting as a technical lead for weapon test and fleet training events, and worked as a Hydrometallurgy Student Research Assistant at the University of Arizona, conducting experiments on gold and copper extraction. Additionally, Jacob gained experience as a Summer Intern at InfoMine, where cost models for mineral recovery processes were developed. Jacob holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering: Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Geological Engineering, both from the University of Arizona.
