Nick Asbury, P.E. has over 20 years of work experience in the field of geological and geotechnical engineering. Nick started their career at Terracon as a Geotechnical Field Technician, where they gained valuable experience in field data collection and analysis. In 2000, they joined the University of Arizona as a Student Mine Manager, where they further honed their skills in managing mining operations. In 2003, they became Vice President and Geological Engineer at Call & Nicholas, Inc., where they primarily focused on providing consultancy services for rock mechanics and geological engineering problems in both open pit and underground mines. Throughout their career, Nick has been responsible for technical support, engineering analysis, and effective communication of results and reporting.
Nick Asbury, P.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Arizona from 1999 to 2004. In addition, they hold certifications such as MSHA Surface and Underground Mine Safety Training (metal, nonmetal) from MSHA Safety Services and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Geological Engineering, certified by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration.
