Guzin Kurnaz

Guzin Kurnaz is a highly experienced engineer specializing in wireless research and development, currently working at Callaghan Innovation since January 2023. Previously, Guzin held a senior software development engineer position at Aselsan from June 2011 to April 2018, where significant achievements included leading Turkey's first UAV-satellite communication system design project and successfully completing multiple large-scale projects. Prior to that, Guzin worked at TUBITAK as a hardware software engineer, developing VHDL coding standards that improved project timelines and profitability. Guzin's career began at Aselsan as an electronic design and test engineer, focusing on VHDL coding for FPGA design and digital board schematic and PCB design using advanced CAD tools. Guzin earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University between 2002 and 2009.
