Matt Hannen

Matt Hannen is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on product development and project management in the sports and medical device industries. Currently serving as Manager of Iron and Wedge Product Engineering at Callaway Golf since July 2014, Matt has previously held roles such as Principal Engineer at the same company, and Senior Project Engineer at Alphatec Spine. During tenure at NuVasive Inc, Matt was a Project Engineer, leading teams in the design and initiation of IDE studies for lumbar artificial discs. Earlier experience includes work as a Research and Technology Engineer at DePuy Spine, where testing and analysis of medical devices were performed. Matt holds a Master’s degree in Materials and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Northeastern University.
