Nathan Ransom

Nathan Ransom is a Mechanical Engineer in Training (EIT) currently employed at Callidus Engineering since February 2024. Previously, Nathan worked as a Mechanical Designer at Rombald Inc from July 2017 to February 2024 and served as Technical Lead at InkSmith 3D Printing, a founding team member focused on the North American education sector, from May 2016 to March 2017. Nathan's early career includes roles as a Research Assistant and MASc. student at the University of Waterloo, conducting research on advanced high strength steels and performing various materials tests. Additional experience includes positions at DynaPlas Ltd., Promatek Research Center, and several internships at Rombald Inc. and Swallow Acoustic Consultants Ltd., where Nathan contributed to design and engineering projects, quality assurance, and noise assessments. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2015.
