Xuan-Nga Cao

Xuan-Nga Cao is the Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Callyope since January 2023 and has been a Co-founder of LangInnov since February 2017. Cao served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the CUNY School of Professional Studies since January 2007, alongside previous appointments at Hunter College and Queens College as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. From January 2013 to December 2022, Cao worked as a Research Engineer at École normale supérieure, managing projects such as BabyCloud and overseeing linguistic resources. Additional experience includes being a Co-Founder at Gazouyi | Grandir Ensemble and serving as a Research Engineer at Oscaro focused on ontology work for car catalogs. Earlier roles include serving as a French Tutor at Penguin Random House and Production Manager at HotGrinds, where team management and customer interactions were key responsibilities. Cao holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Master’s Degree in Linguistics Engineering from Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Université Paris Cité.
