Charla Hollowell

Charla Hollowell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Charla most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Calmer Corn Heads, Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the CFO at Vera French Community Mental Health Center from June 2018 to September 2023. Charla also gained valuable experience as a Manager at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) from March 2016 to June 2018. Charla held the position of Director of Internal Audit at Colorado Community College System from April 2005 to February 2016, where they played a key role in the development and expansion of the internal audit function. Earlier in their career, Charla worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte from 2004 to 2005, and as the Director of System Accounting at the University of Colorado from April 2001 to February 2004. Charla began their professional journey as a Supervising Senior Auditor at KPMG from January 1996 to April 2001, where they specialized in providing assurance services to local governments and higher education institutions.

Charla Hollowell obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Holy Names University in the period 1985 to 1989. Following that, they completed a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado Denver between 1994 and 1996. Additionally, Charla has acquired certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Certified Government Management Accountant from AICPA, and Certified Public Accountant from the Colorado State Department of Accountancy.
