Prior to this role, Dean served as the General Counsel at Karlin Real Estate, where Dean oversaw over $1 billion in real estate acquisitions and financing transactions. Dean also held the position of Senior Director, Acquisitions and Legal Affairs at CityView, managing the acquisition process for a national real estate investment firm. Dean started their legal career as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, representing lenders and institutional investors in commercial real estate transactions. Dean obtained their JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
