Ian McGouldrick

Ian McGouldrick has over two decades of work experience in the engineering field. Ian began their career in 1998 as a Test/Firmware Engineer at Pico Electronics (X10 Ltd), where they developed hardware and firmware tests for home control electronic devices and maintained product firmware. In 2012, they joined SKF Group as a QA Test Engineer, where they played a vital role in testing various company condition monitoring projects. Ian planned and wrote verification test specifications, assisted in the development of test hardware, and worked both independently and as part of a project test team. Currently, Ian holds the position of QA Test Engineer at Calnex Solutions, a role they started in December 2021.

Ian McGouldrick attended Abertay University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a BEng Honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Additionally, they obtained certification in Test Automation with Python: 2 Python for Testers from LinkedIn in November 2021.
