Kareem El-Shaffei

Kareem El-Shaffei is an experienced product management professional currently serving as Group Product Manager for Consumer at Calo Inc., focusing on subscriptions, growth, and retail products. Prior to this role, Kareem held the position of Director of Product at Money Fellows, overseeing growth and core product initiatives. At Amazon, Kareem launched Amazon Prime in Egypt and led the expansion of the Amazon marketplace through significant projects in the MENA region. Earlier, Kareem served as Chief of Staff at Souq.com, contributing to its acquisition by Amazon, and led business development efforts. Kareem also founded CIRQY, a social marketplace, and has a background in investment banking and financial analysis from roles at HC Securities & Investment and PepsiCo, among others. Kareem holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from The American University in Cairo.
