Mahmoud Alsalmo

Mahmoud Alsalmo began their work experience as a Graduated Trainee at SE Factory, where they completed a bootcamp in Foundations of Computer Science. Mahmoud then worked as a Full-stack Web Developer at SE Factory and Anera.

In 2021, Mahmoud joined TalPods as a Full-stack Web Developer, where they applied web development fundamentals to build production-ready microservices. Mahmoud also worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Souqalmal.com, where they designed and implemented car insurance landing pages using HTML, Bootstrap, and Angular.

Later in 2021, Mahmoud worked as a Freelancer, providing services such as building website infrastructures, designing databases, and building website interfaces. Mahmoud also worked as a Full-stack Web Developer at Mostaql.com, where they focused on building full-stack web applications using PHP Laravel and Node.js.

In 2022, Mahmoud joined TalPods again as a Full-stack Software Engineer. And in 2023, they were promoted to the role of Software Engineer ll at Calo Inc., a personalized meal planning app, where they contributed to nutrition algorithms and the delivery of millions of nutritious meals.

Mahmoud Alsalmo is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of the People, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2024. In addition to their formal education, Mahmoud has obtained several certifications and completed various courses and programs. These include the Solidity Foundation Bootcamp from Encode Club in May 2023, the Access to the Job Market 2 certification from Kiron Open Higher Education in March 2022, and the Access to the Job Market 1 certification from the same institution in December 2021. Mahmoud also completed the Forsa II program - Freelance Academy by Mercy Corps in December 2021 and received certification in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in the same month. Mahmoud has obtained multiple certifications in English language proficiency and workplace skills from institutions such as Kiron Open Higher Education and FutureLearn. Mahmoud has also completed a virtual internship as a Full Stack Web Developer at Souqalmal.com and TopInterns in November 2021. Prior to that, they received a Certificate of Graduation from the full stack web development Bootcamp offered by SE Factory in February 2021.
