Omar Muhtaseb

Omar Muhtaseb has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Omar started their career in 2015 as a Computer Software Engineer at SocialDice ME, where they focused on developing software and parsing CVs using regular expressions. In 2016, they worked as a Web Developer at Freightos, where they delivered a complete internal web application. In 2017, Omar worked at EXALT Technologies Ltd. as a DevOps Engineer, supporting Openstack technology, and as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, Inc. in the device support team. Omar also worked as a Web Developer, delivering a web application for a client using React & Redux technologies. In 2018, Omar joined Harri as a Data & Backend Engineer, responsible for creating a data warehouse for talent recruitment. Omar then moved on to work as a Backend Engineer at Gamiphy in 2019, where they were involved in all aspects of application development. Currently, Omar is a Senior Backend Engineer at Calo Inc., working on personalized meal plans using nutritional algorithms. Overall, Omar's roles have given him experience in backend engineering, data engineering, web development, and DevOps.

Omar Muhtaseb completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer System Engineering from Birzeit University between 2012 and 2017. In addition, they obtained a certification in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Thinking Machines from LinkedIn in March 2019.
