Hari Chandrasekaran

Hari Chandrasekaran has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Hari currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Calpine since March 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the VP Information Systems at Calpine from March 2018 to March 2022. Hari also worked as the Director of Information Systems at Calpine from June 2013 to March 2022.

Before joining Calpine, Hari worked at BNP Paribas/Fortis as an AVP Information Technology from May 2006 to May 2013. Hari gained experience as a Technical Consultant at SunGard Consulting Services from July 2002 to April 2004. Hari also served as a Technical Architect at Dynegy from April 2000 to June 2002. Earlier in their career, Hari worked as a Consultant at Altra Software Houston from May 1999 to April 2000 and as a Programmer at Hofinsoft Services Pvt Limited from June 1996 to May 1999.

Hari Chandrasekaran completed their Advanced Management Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Alagappa University from 2010 to 2012. In 1996, they graduated from the National Institute of Information Technology with a GNIT degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they hold a BSC degree in Computer Science from both the University of Madras and DB Jain, which they obtained in 1996.
