Gayane Avakian

Gayane Avakian has a comprehensive work experience spanning over three decades in the banking industry. Gayane currently holds the position of SVP Director of Treasury Management at CalPrivate Bank, which they started in October 2019. Before this, they worked at EH National Bank as SVP/Director of Central Operations & BSA Officer from November 2018 to October 2019. Prior to that, they were with Pacific Premier Bank as SVP/Director of Central Operations from November 2017 to June 2018. Gayane also served as SVP/Director of Operations at Plaza Bank from May 2016 to November 2017. Gayane gained extensive experience at ProAmérica Bank, where they held the role of SVP/Operations Administrator for almost nine years. Before this, they worked at Natioanl Mercantile Bancorp as VP/Central Operations Manager for over a decade. Gayane began their career at Community Bank as an Operations Officer and later served as an Assistant Operations Officer at Security Pacific National Bank.

Gayane Avakian has a certification in CAFP (Certified AML/Fraud Professional) from the American Bankers Association and another certification in Computer Operations from the Institute of Computer Technology.
