Rick L. Sowers

Rick Sowers has an extensive work experience, primarily in the banking and financial industry. Rick is currently serving as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Private Bancorp of America, Inc., the holding company for CalPrivate Bank. Prior to this role, they were the President of CalPrivate Bank. Earlier in their career, Rick held various leadership positions at Plaza Bank and Bank of Manhattan N.A., including President, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and EVP & Chief Banking Officer. Additionally, they have experience serving as a Board Member for the El Segundo Education Foundation and working as a VP at CAST Management Consultants.

Rick Sowers earned a BA in Economics from UC San Diego in 1995. Rick also attended Pacific Coast Banking School - PCBS from 2014 to 2017, specializing in Banking.
