Carla Contreras Cabrera

Carla Contreras Cabrera is an experienced marketing and outreach professional with a background in project management and community engagement. Currently serving as Project Manager II, Marketing and Outreach at CALSTART since March 2021, Carla has progressed through various roles, including Project Manager I and Associate Project Manager within the same department. Prior experience includes coordinating communications and outreach at Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles and serving as an Outreach Coordinator at the Housing Rights Center. Carla began her career with internships focused on marketing and social media at Humboldt State University and the Humboldt County Office of Education. Carla earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Humboldt State University in 2017.
