Kristine McCarty, Ed. D., serves as the Student Support Specialist at Mariners Christian School since August 2017, bringing extensive experience in education. Prior roles include Junior High Teacher at The Prentice School from August 2016 to June 2017, and Long Term Substitute Teacher at Friends Christian Middle School from 2010 to 2016. Kristine began their career as a Special Education Teacher in the Norwalk/La Mirada Unified School District from 1996 to 2003, and worked as a Behavioral Therapist at Autism Partnership from 1994 to 1996. Kristine holds a Doctor of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Azusa Pacific University, a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Chapman University, and a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Biola University.
