Samantha Cookson

Samantha Cookson is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in internal communications across various organizations. Currently serving as the National Manager of Internal Communications at Calvary Health Care since August 2021, Samantha has previously held senior roles at Macquarie University, including Head of Internal Communications and Strategic Lead for Portfolio Communications. Additional experience includes roles at TAFE NSW, WooliesX, BWS, and Woolworths Group, where Samantha advanced through the ranks in internal communications management. Earlier career highlights comprise a position as Internal Communications Manager at Optus and as Agency Head at Havas. Samantha holds a BA in Radio Media/Communications from the University of New England and completed a Higher School Certificate at Cheltenham Girls High School.
