Megan Bova

Megan Bova has a diverse work experience in the education and support field. Megan started their career as a Special Education Teacher at The Academy Schools in 2011. Megan then joined Familylinks, Inc. in 2012 as an Emotional Support Teacher before moving on to Pittsburgh Public Schools in 2015. At Pittsburgh Public Schools, they served as a 3-5 Therapeutic Emotional Support Teacher until 2022, when they transitioned to the role of Teacher on Special Assignment: Social Emotional Learning. Megan is currently working as a Therapeutic Emotional Support Teacher at Pittsburgh Public Schools. In addition to their work in education, Megan Bova also served as CO-Christian Education Director at Calvary United Methodist Church starting in 2019.

Megan Bova completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from PennWest Edinboro in the years 2006 to 2010. Megan then pursued further education and received a Master's of Education in Behavior Management from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania - School of Graduate Studies between 2014 and 2016. Megan Bova has also obtained additional certifications, including one as a Trauma and Resilience Practitioner- Education from Starr Commonwealth in October 2021. Megan is also certified in Elementary Education K-6 Level II and Special Education N-21 Level II by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
