Dave Dixon

Dave Dixon is a seasoned urban planner with a strong background in master planning, community engagement, and urban design. Currently serving as Principal Planner at Calvin, Giordano & Associates since February 2023, Dave previously held the position of Urban Planner at Cushing Terrell from 2012 to June 2022, where expertise included financial feasibility, market analysis, and GIS across various North American projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at cityLAB focusing on transit-oriented development and urban design for the California High-Speed Rail project, as well as internships with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning and the Citizens Planning Association. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from UC Santa Barbara.
