Sophia Neves, ASLA, currently serves as a Landscape Designer at Calvin, Giordano & Associates since September 2022, where contributions include schematic design iterations, community engagement, and construction detail development. Previously, Sophia held the position of Junior Architect at Laura M. Perez & Associates, collaborating on design from conception to construction, and completing field reports. Experience as a TOM Fellow involved leading the first TOM:FIU Makeathon to create custom assistive devices and working with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Additional roles include Course Assistant at Florida International University, architectural internship at Plusurbia Design, and involvement in the Debris Maze Challenge, recognized for its focus on ocean litter awareness. Sophia obtained a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental and Urban Design, and a Master of Architecture from Florida International University.
