Chris Murray

Chris Murray has a strong background in data science and computer vision with experience in various research and internship roles. Currently, they are working as a Senior Data Scientist at CalypsoAI, where they are responsible for product development and working on the company's data science libraries. Chris has developed real-time simulation algorithms and conducted research on "Generalized Domain Retrieval."

Prior to this, Chris worked as a Computer Vision Researcher at Huawei Ireland Research Center, where they contributed to publication submissions and developed algorithms for person re-identification using GANs and meta-learning techniques. Chris also played a key role in surpassing internal KPIs and drafting a proposal for funding for ReID research.

Additionally, Chris has interned as an AI Engineering Intern at Ivalua and as a Computer Vision Research Intern at the University of Victoria Computer Vision Group. Chris has also worked as a Student Research Intern at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and the Health and Technology Lab at the University of New Brunswick.

Furthermore, Chris has experience in tutoring and teaching assistance as a Computer Science Tutor/Teacher Assistant at the University of New Brunswick. Chris has also worked as a SafeRide Driver for the University of New Brunswick Student Union and as a Voter Contact Specialist for a Member of Parliament.

Chris Murray has a diverse education history. Chris started their academic journey in 2013 at the University of New Brunswick, where they pursued a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree in the field of Chemical Engineering. Chris completed this degree in 2015. Following this, from 2015 to 2017, Chris continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree, specializing in Computer Science.

To further enhance their expertise, Chris pursued higher education at École Polytechnique from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they obtained a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. It is clear from their educational history that Chris has a passion for interdisciplinary studies with a strong foundation in both engineering and computer science.
