Luan Nguyen

Luan Nguyen, Ph.D. is Vice President of Engineering and Technology Development. He joined Calysta in 2012 as Director of Engineering. Dr. Nguyen is responsible for technology transfer and the delivery of the world’s first FeedKind® production plant in China.

Dr. Nguyen has over 20 years of experience focusing on development and commercialization of innovative technologies in the energy, bio-chemicals and nutrition sector. He has worked for company such as Codexis, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Dupont.

He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
