Ricardo Rossi

Head Of Technology Transfer at Calysta

Ricardo Rossi began their work experience in 2007 as an intern at the International Affairs Office of Universidade de São Paulo. From 2007 to 2009, they also conducted undergraduate research in the Animal Biotechnology Lab at the same university. In 2009, Ricardo interned at the University of Göttingen before joining Solazyme, Inc. in 2012 as a Fermentation Analyst. In 2017, Ricardo joined Calysta as a Research Assistant and later worked as an Associate Scientist Fermentation. From December 2020 to October 2023, they served as a Fermentation Scientist at Calysta. Currently, Ricardo holds the position of Head of Technology Transfer at Calysta.

Ricardo Rossi has a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from the IAC - Instituto Agronômico de Campinas, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Ricardo also has a BSc. degree in Biology from the USP - Universidade de São Paulo, which they completed from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, Ricardo has a Certificate in Laboratory Management and Leadership from UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, which they earned in 2013. Ricardo also holds a Certificate in Project Management from Senac Brasil, obtained in 2010. In 2010, they pursued a specialization in Business Management and Strategy from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas for a year.
