Carrie Wentzel

Carrie Wentzel is an experienced professional in greenhouse gas integrity and marine ecology with a diverse background in environmental science. Currently serving as the GHG Team Lead at Calyx Global, Carrie manages both the Renewable Energy and Industrial Gas teams, focusing on providing GHG integrity ratings for carbon offset credits in the voluntary carbon market. Prior roles include Project Success Manager at The Hydrous, where Carrie leads a podcast project, and a Visiting Researcher with Conservation International in Fiji, conducting research on seagrass meadows. Carrie's previous experience includes consulting for the Environmental Defense Fund, interning with its Fisheries Leadership Program, and conducting research at the University of Virginia in marine ecology. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
