Maria Alves

Maria Alves has extensive experience in social work and human resources. Currently serving in the Departamento de Educação e Desenvolvimento Sócio Cultural at Câmara Municipal da Amadora since February 2021, Maria Alves previously held a position in Recursos Humanos at Sporting Clube de Lourel from July to December 2020. From 1995 to 2017, Maria Alves worked as a Técnica Superior de Serviço Social at Fundação D. Pedro IV, where responsibilities included the reception of children and families, admission processes, socio-economic assessments, and participation in team meetings and community projects. Maria Alves holds a degree in Social Work from Instituto Superior de Serviço Social de Lisboa (1989-1993) and completed a program at Sociedade Portuguesa de Terapia Familiar (1998-1999).
