Jorge Coelho

Jorge Coelho is an experienced tourism professional with a robust academic background and extensive expertise in project management and training. Currently serving as the Tourism Unit Coordinator at Vizela City Council since July 2018, Jorge also holds the role of Project Manager at Dark Tourism World since 2012. Previous roles include Consultant/Trainer at ADERE-PG from February 2022 to June 2023, and Project Manager at the Portuguese Federation of Rural Tourism from 2021 to 2023. Jorge has experience in teaching and training at various institutions, including Tomaz Pelayo High School and the Institute of Higher Studies of Fafe. Jorge's educational qualifications include a PhD in Tourism from Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Innovative Tourism Development from Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo.
