Dragos Talvescu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dragos started their career as an intern at the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Romania, where they worked on a project in the confectionery sector. Dragos then had a brief internship at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants before joining BI-Studentenes Bemanningsbyrå AS for short assignments.
In 2009, Dragos joined Sund Energy AS as an Assistant and Analyst, where they gained experience in energy consulting, focusing on natural gas, renewable energy, and carbon capture and storage projects. Dragos later became a Partner and Consultant at Sund Energy, providing commercial and strategic energy consulting services globally.
In 2014, Dragos briefly founded DT Energy and Environment Consulting, where they freelanced in the sustainability field before moving on to other collaborations. Dragos then joined IRMI Group as a Compliance Consultant, assisting Norwegian organizations in managing environmental, social, and governance risks.
Dragos also worked at Norges Røde Kors as a Coordinator and Team Leader for fundraising, and at the Ministry of Energy, Government of Romania as a Personal Advisor to the Energy Minister. In the latter role, they played a significant role in developing the National Energy Strategy.
Currently, Dragos is engaged with Cambi Group. Dragos started as a Marketing Manager, where they coordinated the launch of a new corporate website and developed marketing strategies and objectives. Dragos then became the Head of Marketing, leading a small team and overseeing Cambi's global marketing efforts. Dragos currently holds the position of Marketing Director and is responsible for coordinating content in investor events, reports, and presentations, as well as revisiting the brand and content strategy. Dragos is also an employee-elected Board Member at Cambi ASA.
Throughout their career, Dragos has demonstrated a strong focus on sustainability, marketing, and energy consulting.
Dragos Talvescu began their education at Colegiul National Tudor Vladimirescu, where they obtained their high-school degree and Bacalaureat in 2005. During this time, they focused on mathematics, programming, and physics. In the same year, they also started studying at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, where they pursued a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science until 2007. Dragos'scoursework included subjects such as calculus, algebra, statistics, physics, and programming languages.
In 2005, Dragos Talvescu enrolled in the Academia de Studii Economice din București, where they completed a BSc in Business Administration from 2005 to 2008. The program covered a range of subjects including management, finance, and marketing.
Following this, in 2008, Dragos Talvescu attended BI Norwegian Business School, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Marketing and Management. Dragos completed this degree program in 2010.
In 2014, Dragos Talvescu returned to the University of Oslo (UiO) to complete individual courses in Energy. Later that year, they also enrolled in the same university for free subjects in Energy, Environment, and Ethics.
