Kirstie van Tongerlo-Hekman Med

Kirstie van Tongerlo-Hekman MEd is an experienced educator and geographer with a strong background in geography and cartography. Currently serving as a first-grade geography teacher at Cambium College since August 2002, Kirstie has transitioned from a role as a bridge class coordinator to focus on teaching upper secondary students in havo and vwo. Previous professional experience includes roles as Product Manager at EuroCartografie, where responsibilities included product development and presentations, GIS Consultant at Tensing with a focus on application development, and Cartographic Editor at Cartan v.o.f., leading projects for ANWB route maps. Kirstie holds a Master’s degree in Education from Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg and a degree in social geography with a specialization in cartography from Utrecht University.
