Joseph Moore

Joseph Moore is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist in API Manufacturing at Cambrex since January 2019. With a solid background in process development from Avista Pharma Solutions, Joseph has extensive experience in optimizing synthetic pathways and producing cGMP compounds for clinical trials. Prior to this role, Joseph contributed as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Scynexis, where the focus was on the synthesis of small molecules and improving synthetic efficiency. Joseph began the professional journey as a Medicinal Chemist at PPD after earning a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from The University of Georgia, following a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Virginia Tech.
