Vaibhav Hegde

Vaibhav Hegde is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience across various industries. As Co-Founder and CEO of Cambrian Bioworks since May 2020, Vaibhav leads the development of innovative tools for genomics and precision medicine. In addition, Vaibhav serves as Managing Director of The Estate Resort, offering unique experiences in Coastal Karnataka, and is a Partner at Sarora Hospitality, which operates the terrace pub 'enne' in Bangalore. Vaibhav also founded Ever Care, delivering disease management services for diabetics in Mangalore, previously founded Elements Glass Works, a stained glass design business, and worked as an Associate Scientist at Medimmune, focusing on cell culture process development for monoclonal antibody therapeutics. Vaibhav holds an M.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
