Justin Buck

Justin Buck serves as a Principal Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since September 2019, directing the Huang-Hobbs BioMaker Space and teaching in the Biological Engineering and Chemical Engineering Departments. In addition, Justin has held the position of Principal at Pine Street Advisors since September 2018 and is a board member and Chief Technology Officer at Cambrian Innovation Inc. Prior experience includes various academic roles at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2011, including SEED Academy Instructor and Graduate Resident Tutor, as well as professional engineering roles at Washington Group International and Dow Chemical. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a PhD in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
