Hengwen Tong

Hengwen Tong is an experienced technology professional with a solid background in software engineering and system development. Currently serving as Director at 寒武纪 since November 2018, Hengwen specializes in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and related technologies. Previous roles include BSP & System Team Lead at Xiaomi Technology, where responsibilities involved system software for ARM and MIPS and Linux kernel and driver development, as well as experience at FutureWei Technologies as a Software Engineer, where a 100Gbps network processor with over 1000 hardware multithreads was successfully built. Early career at Huawei involved software engineering on PowerPC and Cavium platforms for Carrier Grade Core Routers. Hengwen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, completed in 2007.
