David Prescott

David Prescott is an experienced educator and arts professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Volunteer Staff member at the University of Warwick Arts Centre since May 2023, David has held prominent roles such as Principal Examiner for First Language English at Cambridge Assessment and Senior Team Leader at OCR, where responsibilities included question setting and overseeing English specifications. David has been actively involved in community and cultural initiatives, having served as a Coventry Ambassador and participated in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as an interviewer for the volunteer program. With a strong background in drama education as the former Director of Drama at Bablake School and significant contributions to festivals like the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Brighton Festival, David holds a PGCE in English and Drama and a BA in English and American Literature from the University of Manchester.
