James Bishop

James Bishop is a seasoned professional in higher education management, currently serving as Higher Education Manager for the Northeast U.S. and Canada at Cambridge University Press & Assessment since March 2021. Previously, Bishop held various leadership roles in admissions and college counseling, including Associate Director of Admission and Director of College Counseling at Whittle School & Studios, as well as Senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at George Washington University. Bishop's earlier experience includes key positions at the University of Virginia and Virginia College Advising Corps. Academically, Bishop earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from the University of Virginia.
