Eric Hinkel

Eric is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates in the Boston office and is the Head of Portfolio Implementation Management (“PIM”). In this role, Eric is responsible for the discretionary platform at CA which supports outsourced portfolio management for clients globally. Eric also serves as Chair of both the Discretionary Oversight and Vendor Governance Committees. In addition, he serves as a member of the firm’s Best Execution Committee, and as a senior advisor to the CA Capital Board.

Eric joined the firm in 2001 as a Consulting Associate and worked with a variety of institutional and private investors on asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and investment program evaluation. Eric served as Head of the global Associate program at Cambridge and later as COO of CA Capital, the dedicated discretionary platform at CA. Prior to joining Cambridge in 2001, Eric worked as an Investment Intern at Merrill Lynch. Eric earned a BA from Bowdoin College.
