Matthew Dore

Matthew Dore is a seasoned professional in the audio and acoustics industry, currently serving as CTO and R&D Director at Cambridge Audio since December 2022. Previously, Matthew held the position of Engineering Director - Electroacoustics at Biamp, where responsibilities included building and managing a newly established Electroacoustic department. Matthew's experience also encompasses roles such as Director of Research & Development at Apart Audio NV and Director of Sound and Acoustics at Gibson Innovations, focusing on cross-functional product development and team management. Prior roles at Philips featured significant leadership positions in sound and acoustics, as well as consumer marketing. Matthew's career began at NXT Design & Development and NXT, where a strong foundation in acoustic engineering and product sales was established. Matthew holds a BEng (Hons) in Electroacoustics from The University of Salford.
