Howard E. Horton

Howard E. Horton currently serves as Executive Director of Cambridge College Global which houses the fully online programs of Cambridge College. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Horton served as president of New England College of Business and Finance (NECB), which was acquired by Cambridge College in 2020. Mr. Horton previously held two other, respective, presidencies of NECHE-accredited institutions; Bay State College and Massachusetts Communications College/New England Institute of Art.

Mr. Horton has been a regular contributor to academic publications and co-authored a widely-discussed commentary piece for the Chronicle of Higher Education entitled, “Higher Education: The Next Bubble?” which focused on the implications of incessant tuition increases at America’s colleges and universities. Mr. Horton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Antioch College; a Master of Science in Broadcast Communications from Boston University; and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
