Abhishek Ambekar

Abhishek Ambekar has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Abhishek worked as a Principal Software Engineer in Test at Cambridge Consultants starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a System Development Engineer at CMR Surgical from 2021 to 2023, where they were responsible for improving a surgical robotic system through software development, data analysis, and testing. Abhishek also worked as a Consultant Physicist at Sagentia from 2017 to 2021, where they developed new products and managed feasibility and proof-of-concept phases for a consumer goods project. Abhishek was a Software Engineer at Metaswitch Networks in 2015, where they automated software installation processes. Abhishek also has experience as a Private Tutor during their self-employed period from 2014 to 2015. Abhishek began their career as a Research Scientist at the University of Cambridge, where they developed open-source Python software and collaborated on a water testing toolkit.

Abhishek Ambekar completed their high school education at Ilford County High School & Sixth Form College from 2005 to 2013. Abhishek then pursued a Master of Natural Sciences (MSci) degree in Physics at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization and Machine Learning from Coursera in 2019.
