David Rodenas Herráiz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. From February 2014 to May 2019, they served as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, working in the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC) and the Networks and Operative Systems Group. In these roles, they conducted research under the supervision of various professors and contributed to projects related to smart infrastructure and computer networks.

David Rodenas Herráiz received their education from the Universidad Politénica de Cartagena. David completed a Ph.D. in Information Technologies and Communications from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a M.Sc. in Information Technologies and Communications from 2010 to 2011, and a M.Eng. in Telecommunication Engineering from 2009 to 2010. David also earned a B.Sc. in Telematics Engineering (Electronics & Computer Networks) from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degrees, they pursued language studies, obtaining a German Language certificate from the Official School of Languages in Cartagena, Spain in 2012, and a First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations in 2012. David has also completed additional certifications in Deep Learning and Machine Learning from Coursera in 2018.
