Joe Smallman

Joe Smallman is a seasoned technical lead with extensive experience in consultancy, particularly within the defense, security, industry, and consumer products sectors. Currently serving as a Technical Lead and Senior Physicist/Engineer at Cambridge Consultants since July 2014, Joe specializes in machine vision systems for industrial and robotics applications. Additionally, Joe works as a Machine Vision Specialist at Synapse Product Development and was previously a Physics Research Associate at Imperial College London, where responsibilities included managing an electron EDM experiment, leading a team of PhD students, and presenting research internationally. Joe holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Imperial College London and an M.Phys in Physics from Durham University.
