Sylvain Jamais

Sylvain Jamais has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sylvain started their career as an Engineering Leader at Engineering Solutions International Ltd in 1998, where they led a team specializing in simulation of surface coating processes and worked on projects for clients such as Daimler Benz and General Electric. In 2003, they joined Morgan Advanced Ceramics as a CFD Specialist before moving to Domino Printing Sciences in 2004, where they served as the Principal Mechanical Engineer and led the Mechanical Design Team. In 2012, Sylvain joined Cambridge Consultants as a Senior Consultant in the Medical Technology Division and eventually became the Associate Director of the division in 2018. Sylvain'sexpertise extends to areas like continuous inkjet print head technology and harmonization of mechanical engineering tools and processes.

Sylvain Jamais holds a Diploma in Executive Management from the Chartered Management Institute, completed in 2009. Sylvain also has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Fluid Mechanics from Grenoble INP - UGA, earned between 1995 and 1998. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1993, both from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I). In addition, Sylvain is a certified Chartered Engineer, obtained in 2004 through the Engineering Council.
