Jayne Follows has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry. Jayne has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Business Development Manager and Area Manager at NatWest Bank for over 23 years. During this time, they successfully delivered across both commercial and retail areas, managing teams of up to 45 staff.
After their tenure at NatWest Bank, Jayne joined Salt Commercial / Derbyshire Building Society as a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, they managed a team of up to 15 Commercial Sales Managers across the UK and Northern Ireland while also delivering new business and developing a broker strategy.
Following this, Jayne took on the position of Team Manager Commercial Risk at Derbyshire Building Society. Jayne headed a team of Commercial Risk & Recovery Managers and managed their own portfolio. As part of the Senior Management Team, their key objectives were cost reduction, delivering a migration plan, loss mitigation, and debt recovery.
Later, Jayne worked at Nationwide Building Society as the Head of Restructuring South. Jayne also held the position of Senior Lending Manager and was invited back as a Consultant to complete a consultancy project within the Asset Management Department. Jayne'sconsultancy role involved working with the Commercial Team on non-performing assets, presenting debt solutions, and mentoring and upskilling staff. Additionally, they modeled new programs and initiatives for future book management and risk control.
Most recently, Jayne is the Head of Real Estate Finance at Cambridge & Counties Bank. A role they started in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Director, Midlands and South at the same bank from 2019 to 2023.
Jayne Follows attended Valley Comprehensive from 1975 to 1982. No details were provided regarding the degree or field of study pursued during this period.
