Romina Ugas

Romina Ugas has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Romina currently serves as the Head of Finance at Cambridge Energy Partners, where they oversee the production and distribution of prefabricated solar fields for global industries. Prior to this, Romina worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Valtx Perú, leading a team of 35 members and presenting financial analyses to the board of directors. Romina also held the position of Administration Manager at tgestiona Perú, where they managed a team of 8 and negotiated operating renting agreements with suppliers. Romina's experience in finance and banking includes roles at BBVA en Perú, where they served as a Relationship Manager and Vice President in Corporate Lending, and Deutsche Bank, where they worked as an MBA Consultant. Romina has also worked in the mining industry as the Head of Financial Planning at Pan American Silver Corp. and as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst at Volcan Cia Minera SAA. Romina began their career at BBVA en Perú as a Senior Investment Banking Analyst, specializing in syndicated loans, credit agreements, and bond issuance. Romina gained early experience as an intern at Interbank and Banco de Crédito BCP in the Treasury and Capital Markets departments, respectively. Throughout their career, Romina has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and the ability to develop valuable relationships with clients and suppliers.

Romina Ugas completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad del Pacífico (PE) from 2002 to 2006. Romina then pursued further education and obtained a Licentiate degree in Economics from the same university in 2010. In 2008 to 2010, Romina successfully passed the CFA Level I and Level II examinations from CFA Institute. Later, in 2013 to 2014, they attended the University of Cambridge and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Additionally, they participated in a Digital Transformation Workshop at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2019.
