Tom Miller

Tom Miller has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tom began their career as a Delivery Driver at Pizza Hut in 2000 before moving on to work as an Administration Assistant at Bank of Queensland. In 2002, they interned at Morgan Stanley in the Fixed Income department. Tom then joined The University of Queensland as an Academic Tutor in the School of Economics from 2005 to 2008.

In 2008, they worked as an Analyst in Institutional Equities at Citi. Following this, Tom served as an Economist at Commonwealth Treasury from 2009 to 2012. Tom then joined PNG Sustainable Development Program Ltd. as a Commercial Development Associate, where they were responsible for managing large-scale commercial developments across various sectors.

In 2014, Tom worked as a Consultant at British International Investment, specializing in Equity Research for the Food processing and Agriculture sector in Africa. Tom also served as the Chief Executive Officer at Cambridge Energy, a company that manufactures prefabricated solar fields for utilities, IPPs, and industry globally.

Throughout their career, Tom has gained expertise in a wide range of areas including consulting, research, economics, commercial development, and project management.

Tom Miller attended Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) from 1994 to 1999, where they completed their high school education. Later, from 2002 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with Honors at The University of Queensland. In 2013 and 2014, Tom attended the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
